The Training Provider Advisory Group
From the products we offer to how we communicate with you, our award winning Training Provider Advisory Group plays a vital role in how AAT develops to meet the needs of our training providers, students, and employers.
With over 480 training providers delivering AAT qualifications, all operating in different sectors, it's important that we can adapt to their wants and needs. Our aim is to help you to raise teaching standards and help you support the thousands of students you help progress through the qualifications every year.
Applications are currently open until 31 July 2025.
Aims and purpose
Build a strong, supportive training provider community to consult with on future plans, creating a clear voice for training providers within AAT.
Provide a forum to support evidence-based decision making.
Discuss ideas and strategies to support training providers and help with student acquisition and retention.
Maintain and increase training provider engagement through discussion, debate, and collaboration.
Your commitment
We're asking for applicants to be committed to the Training Provider Advisory Group for a 12-month period.
- At least three meetings across the 12-months.
- Two online meetings and one face-to-face meeting (with travel expenses
covered).
Dates
- First meeting – Friday 17 October 2025 at 12.00 to 13.30.
- Second meeting – Friday 23 January 2025 12.00 to 13.30.
- Third meeting (in-person) – Friday 15 May 2026.
How this works
- Each online meeting will last 90 minutes maximum. While the in-person meeting will be a day of workshops at the AAT head office.
- The meetings are designed to be focused on qualifications, communications, new developments, student experience, and employer feedback.
- After all three meetings have concluded, we'll begin the next phase of recruitment for the following 12-months.
- In addition, there will also be opportunity to get involved in ad-hoc activity as new initiatives develop.
