- Support inclusive learning for all learners.
- Take responsibility for learners from start to finish of the programme.
- Meet the compliance requirements for all activities.
- Manage employer relationships and involve employers in the learning.
- Manage learner retention and timely completion rates.
- Encourage learners to achieve at their highest level possible.
Key tasks
- Learner induction and ‘sign up’ activities
- Initial assessment and individualisation of learning
- Creation of TLA plans and assessment of learning
- Reviewing progress, addressing shortfalls/issues and setting goals.
- Preparation for and guidance through End Point Assessment
- Plan and prioritise own activities to make best use of time.
- Providing individualised support, particularly for learners with disabilities
- Support the development of maths and English skills
- Provide ongoing, relevant careers advice and pastoral care as appropriate

Main purposes of job
- To engage and motivate learning with cohorts of learners who go on to achieve excellent first-time pass rates in AAT at Level 2, 3 and 4 via excellent training and effective communication with colleagues.
- To contribute to the development and ongoing management/improvement of learning resources and materials.
Key tasks
- Plan, organise and deliver online and classroom training sessions
- Monitor and report on work done by Academy Live learners on Rogo and deliver short online sessions to underpin and test that learning.
- Ensure that learning is presented in the most engaging way, encouraging opinion, ideas and discussion.
- Utilise appropriate teaching techniques to assess learning and aid long term memory retention.
- Help learners to identify how learning fits with their own roles/organisations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of learning materials and online resources.
- Create an inclusive learning environment and individualise for learners wherever possible.
- Record detail of learner performance and pass all relevant is passed to coaches.
- Assist learners who fail exams to plan activities to support future success
- Contribute to team meetings and standardisations to share best practice and new techniques/ideas.
KPIs
- Learner feedback from workshops and regular questionnaires.
- First time exam pass rates.
- OTLA outcomes
- Quality of online learning resources – feedback from learners.
- Employer and coach feedback on learner’s knowledge and skills in the workplace.

Independent Internal Verifier and Assessor opportunities (no closing date)
Training providers may currently be on the lookout for new internal verifiers and assessors to administer recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment. If this is something you’d like to assist in, we'd like to hear from you.
While we can’t recommend particular candidates to training providers we're happy to put names of suitably qualified individuals onto a list which that training providers can view.
