Providing tutor support in distance learning. Working within a team of tutors, and as we produce our own materials and resources there is a constant demand for writing, creating and proofing. Video recordings also form a big part of our resources and although not compulsory it is an advantage to be able to contribute. Job details:
The role will be to support the existing team with tutoring on AAT level 2 and 3. You should be able to understand and comprehensively use the Mindful Education VLE and be fully up to date with your knowledge of the current AAT syllabus. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team of experienced staff delivering high quality AAT/apprenticeship training and CPD provision.
Your job role will include supporting apprentices to build their portfolio of evidence and prepare for their End Point Assessment ensuring that the EPA process runs smoothly.
This will include support with apprenticeship teaching sessions, monitoring the Off The Job Training records and preparation for their Professional Discussions.
The role will include working with our marketing administrator to create content for our website and marketing of our CPD and apprenticeship programmes.
Flexibility is required as you will also be a key part of the office team supporting the wider delivery of high-quality AAT qualifications and provision of CPD for our members. This will include supporting our accountant and Managing Director.
You will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative. For this role you need to have experience of working in a business or finance environment and hold a teaching qualification and/or an Assessor qualification or be willing to work towards one within the first year of employment. You must have English and Maths at Level 2 or above and have competent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office. Preferably you will be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in a finance or business-related field or qualified by experience and a business or professional accountancy qualification (eg AAT/CIMA/ACCA, etc) is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

You will be the main point of contact in supporting apprentices in their on-program progress, recording their Off the Job Training, hosting tri-partite meetings with both employers and apprentices, and supporting their training needs in preparation for Gateway entry.
You will support apprentices with building their portfolio of evidence and prepare them for their End Point Assessment 2.

Training providers may currently be on the lookout for new internal verifiers and assessors to administer recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment. If this is something you’d like to assist in, we'd like to hear from you.
