Misconduct
Sheraz Sultan’s professional or personal conduct, was found to be in breach of the Code of Professional Ethics and to have posed a risk to the public or was likely to undermine public confidence in the Association or its members; namely:
- On or around on 07 March 2018, he became the subject of a disciplinary sanction made by another professional body.
- He did not notify AAT of his disciplinary sanction within 30 days of the date it was imposed, as required by AAT’s Disciplinary Sanctions policy.
Finding
Grounds for disciplinary action existed and the matter was suitable for exercise of the Investigations team's powers under the Disciplinary Regulations.
Order
Sheraz Sultan is hereby expelled until such time that the disciplinary sanction ordered by the other professional body has expired.
Consent
Sheraz Sultan was deemed to have agreed to submit to the decision of the Investigations Team, in accordance with Regulation 6 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
