AAT hosts a huge range of study support, professional development and networking events to support your learning and career.
Face-to-face AAT events postponed until 31 August 2021
Due to ongoing circumstances arising from coronavirus (Covid-19) all AAT face-to-face events will now be postponed until at least 31 August 2021. This is so we're able to maintain the health and safety of all our members and partners, which remains paramount.
This currently excludes AAT events planned in Botswana and Isle of Man as local restrictions allow these to take place. Both branches will be going ahead with face-to-face events in February and March as their restrictions allow.
We'll continue to deliver new updates, insights, learning and support through our wide range of online events so you won't miss a thing. Search for an upcoming event.
AAT Essentials are practical one-day finance training programmes, ideal for finance and accounting professionals, as well as non-finance staff looking for a better understanding of key financial processes.
They deliver practical skills that can be applied immediately, to help you manage business finance more effectively.
Our annual UK Achievement Ceremony celebrates members who have reached special landmarks in their AAT career. These include:
- election to professional membership for the first time as either an AAT bookkeeping member (AATQB) or full member (MAAT)
- election to fellow membership (FMAAT)
- achieving 25 years as a professional member.
Be your own boss
Have you ever thought about running your own accountancy practice? These sessions will provide all the information you need to become your own boss.
Branch events are an ideal opportunity to network with AAT members and accounting professionals in your area, find local business and career opportunities, and refresh your knowledge in key areas of finance. Each branch runs events in all areas of accounting throughout the year, in the evenings and weekends, and they are free to attend.
Keep up to date on the latest industry updates and gain top quality CPD by attending our one-day mastercourses. They cover a wide range of financial topics and are delivered by expert speakers. Our mastercourses are designed for professional members, but affiliates, students and non-members are also welcome.
Our CPD webinars are hosted by professional speakers on a range of key accountancy, financial, and professional skills topics. They are free and exclusive to AAT members, and are suitable for all levels of experience from introductory to advanced.
Our study support events help students to understand key principles of accounting and get the most out of their studies. Each event is recorded and can form an important part of your AAT studies.
