Accessibility and support for CPD webinars

Last updated: 14 May 2026

We want our CPD webinars to be accessible to as many people as possible. We recognise that some attendees may need additional support to take part fully, and we are committed to making reasonable adjustments wherever we can.

Our standard accessibility arrangements

Our CPD webinars are delivered using online platforms such as ON24 or Zoom, which include a range of built-in accessibility features. These typically include:

  • live or automatic captions
  • compatibility with screen readers
  • keyboard navigation
  • flexible layouts, adjustable sizes and colour contrast
  • digital materials designed to work with assistive technology.

Requesting additional support

If you require additional support to participate in a CPD webinar, please email us with the details of the support needed.

To allow enough time to consider and arrange support, please let us know at least two weeks before the webinar, where possible. Requests received after this point will still be considered.

Types of support we can provide

Examples of support we can often provide include:

  • early access to presentation slides or supporting documents
  • allowing an attendee's own sign language interpreter or support worker to attend the webinar
  • making practical platform-based arrangements to support participation.

We assess each request individually and aim to agree a solution that supports your participation wherever possible.

If we can't provide the requested adjustment

If we're unable to provide a particular adjustment we'll explain why and, where possible, discuss alternative ways of supporting your access to the webinar.

How we use your information

Any information you provide about a disability or support need is treated sensitively and in line with data protection law. We only collect what is necessary to consider and arrange support and will only share this information with staff who need it to provide the adjustment.

For more general details of data collection when attending AAT events, see the fair processing notice for events attendees.
