Our new L4PAT qualification has been shaped in collaboration with employers to ensure students build the practical, workplace ready skills the industry is calling for. These events are designed to equip you with the insight and tools you need to confidently implement the new L4PAT qualification.
Programme outline for the day
9.30–10.00: registration
Check in, meet your fellow tutors, and take a moment to get comfortable in our shared space before we dive into the day's learning and discussion. Get ready for an inspiring day together.
10.00–11.00: delving into effective delivery models
A hands on exploration of the move to 100% mandated unit structure. Using examples, we’ll discuss different delivery models and order of teaching. Also looking at potential ways for co-teaching L4PAT and Q2022 students.
11.00–12.00: elevate your teaching within the classroom
A comprehensive walkthrough of the essential tutor toolkit. We’ll demonstrate the key changes guide, new style tutor guides and the student support offer – an opportunity for tutors to discuss how they’ll plan to embed these within their teaching, sharing ideas of how they may use additional tools e.g quiz tools, and integrating AI.
12.00–13.00: the future skills gap – insight to impact
Shifting the focus from technical mechanics to strategic impact. We’ll explore the latest research available around skills needs and gaps across the profession, ensuring that we look to focus on regional skills data.
13.00–14.00: lunch and networking
Grab some lunch and meet your fellow tutors. It’s a great opportunity to share insights, ask questions, and strengthen your professional network.
