AAT Connect 2026

Friday 6 November, The Brewery, London

Powered by community

Exclusively for AAT members, AAT Connect puts you front and centre.

Returning to The Brewery in London, this year's event has been supercharged with even more opportunities to learn, grow and celebrate as one AAT community.

At the event, you'll get the chance to join us for member-led sessions on the topics that matter to you, get your practical questions answered with one-on-one support from industry specialists, search out new and exciting tech at our exhibition and most importantly, meet with each other at a day designed for connection.

We'll also be hosting the fourth annual AAT Impact Awards, an unmissable opportunity to dine, be inspired and celebrate the difference that AAT members continue to make to the profession and each other.

All that's left is to secure your place.

9.00: Meet our exhibitors

Discover products and services designed to make your day to day that little bit easier. Catch up with familiar faces or, if it’s your first Connect, meet new people and start making connections.

Find your tribe: connect with AAT members in similar roles and sectors

9.15–9.45: Bookkeepers’ catch up

Joined one of our online Bookkeepers' catch ups, or always wanted to? Now’s your chance and we’re taking it offline.

Meet members who understand the challenges you face, hear how they overcome them and build connections with people who’ve been where you are. Because sometimes, you just need to talk to someone who gets it.

9.15–9.45: AAT practice owner community

Calling all practice owners… This is your chance to meet the people who really understand what it takes to run a practice.

Going it alone isn’t always easy, and good advice can be hard to come by. Here, you’ll find a room full of AAT practice owners facing the same decisions, challenges and opportunities as you.

9.45–10.15: Member meet up: public sector, charity and non-profit community

Working in the public sector, charity or non-profit space? This one’s for you.

Come together with other AAT members who understand the opportunities and challenges that come with working in these sectors. A space to chat and share what’s on your mind with people who have something in common with you.

9.45–10.15: Member meet up: industry edition

Meet other AAT members working across industry and start building your network.

This is your opportunity to hear from and learn from the experiences of members who have been where you are and may already be where you want to be.

Learn today, use tomorrow

10.30–11.00: AI in action

Let’s talk AI. It’s the hottest topic around – it’s practically impossible to miss, but how can you actually use it to make your working day easier?

Discover how we’re already putting AI to work, to tackle bigger business challenges and to take care of those everyday tasks that eat into your time. You can expect real examples, lessons learnt and practical ideas you can take away and try for yourself.

10.30–11.00: Attracting, developing and retaining talent in finance

Finding great people is one thing. Keeping them is another.

We’ll discuss how to attract great talent and help them grow, all while creating workplaces they want to stay in. We’ll also cover what employees are looking for now and what finance teams can do to build a strong workforce for the future.

Keep your eyes peeled…

11.00–12.00: We’ll be announcing some more sessions soon

More opportunities to learn, connect and progress are coming soon.

Career panels

12.00–12.30: The confidence gap: speaking up, stepping up and owning your voice

Ever held back from speaking up, put off going for an opportunity or wondered whether you’re ready for the next step? You’re not the only one.

Our panel will get into the confidence gap and how it can show up throughout your career. They’ll share their own experiences, what they’ve learnt and practical ways to quieten the self-doubt and back yourself when it matters.

12.00–12.30: Beyond the job title: creating a career that works for you

There’s no one right way to build a career. Maybe you’re chasing progression, want more flexibility or a better balance.

The AAT panel will discuss how they made their careers work for them, from changing direction to taking new opportunities and making choices that fit their priorities. You’ll leave the sessions thinking less about what your career should look like and more about what you actually want from it.

Let the celebrations begin

12.30–16.00: Networking reception, lunch and AAT Impact Awards

After a morning at AAT Connect, continue the conversations over our networking reception before sitting down for a three course lunch and for the AAT Impact Awards as we celebrate the people making a difference across the profession.
