We're excited to return for another AAT Impact Awards, continuing to honour the achievements of exceptional individuals across the AAT community.
These awards celebrate members from all backgrounds, championing diversity, inclusion, and innovation at every level.
They spotlight the unsung heroes and inspirational figures who go above and beyond – offering you the chance to gain recognition for your impact, share your story, and inspire others across the profession.
Honouring everyday people who do extraordinary things
The awards are free to enter for AAT members (AATQBs, MAATs and FMAATs). They are competitive awards and entries will be judged against a range of criteria detailed below.
The winners will receive a unique AAT trophy and will be invited to an exclusive member event and awards ceremony in London on Friday 7 November 2025.
Award submission deadline: Friday 5 September 2025.
Who can enter
We welcome nominations from all parts of the AAT member community, including AATQBs, MAATs, FMAATs and licensed members. You can nominate yourself or someone else.
How to enter
The awards are free to enter and all you need to do is provide your details and answer two questions.
- Tell us about your inspirational story (maximum 300 words).
- Describe how you meet the award criteria (maximum 400 words).
Please make sure you have all your information to hand before starting your award entry as you won’t be able to save your progress or amend your answers once submitted.
Award submission deadline: Friday 5 September 2025.
AAT Social Sustainability Champion Award (New)
The AAT Social Sustainability Champion Award will recognise someone who is creating fairer, more inclusive pathways into the finance profession, whether through apprenticeships, mentoring, internships, school partnerships or community outreach.
What we're looking for
Members who have supported social mobility or inclusion in finance since 1 April 2024. This could be through mentoring, internships, apprenticeships, outreach with schools or colleges, or other activity that helps open up the profession to new or underrepresented groups.
AAT Bookkeeper of the Year Award (New)
Open to all members who work as a bookkeeper or run a bookkeeping practice.
The AAT Bookkeeper of the Year will reward someone who not only demonstrates exceptional accuracy and professionalism, but also makes a lasting impact, whether through driving business success, delivering exemplary service to clients, or growing their own thriving practice.
What we're looking for
AAT bookkeepers who have delivered consistent and high-quality service since 1 April 2024. This could include accuracy, professionalism, client feedback, growth of a practice, or broader contributions to the bookkeeping community.
AAT Financial Leadership Award (New)
The AAT Financial Leadership Award will recognise senior finance professionals who lead teams, drive strategic impact, and demonstrate excellence in financial leadership.
What we're looking for
Senior finance professionals who have demonstrated strong leadership and strategic influence since 1 April 2024. This could include managing teams, leading transformation, or delivering lasting improvements to financial performance and culture.

Terms and conditions
Before submitting your nomination please read the Fair Processing Notice for AAT awards nominations detailing how we’ll handle your data.
If you’re nominating someone else the nominee will be contacted, but we won’t disclose any details of the nominator.
Personal data submitted as part of your nomination will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with consent. Nominations will be judged by an independent panel of AAT staff to select winners.
Once submitted, we’ll retain your nomination and the data within it for six months for unsuccessful nominations and 12 months for winners.
