The AAT Impact Awards return to celebrate all those amazing achievements that exemplify the AAT member community.  

We know among you are the unsung heroes, the impactful figures and the inspirational "above and beyonders" that make a real difference and we want you to shine.

These awards celebrate you, our members from all backgrounds, and are a truly inclusive and diverse showcase of what it really means to be "AAT".

Who can enter

If you're part of the AAT member community and hold AATQB, MAAT, FMAAT or licensed membership, or want to nominate someone else who is, you can enter or nominate for free now in the categories below.

How to enter

The awards are free to enter and all you need to do is provide your details and answer two questions. 

  • Tell us your inspirational story, or the story of the person you're nominating (maximum 300 words).
  • Describe how you or they meet the award criteria (maximum 400 words). 

Please make sure you have all your information to hand before starting your award entry as you won’t be able to save your progress or amend your answers once submitted.

New award category: AAT Outstanding Contribution Award

The AAT Outstanding Contribution Award recognises members who have made a significant and lasting contribution to AAT, its community or the wider profession.

Celebrating those who go above and beyond to support others, and make a meaningful impact through their work, volunteering or advocacy.

To be in with a chance of winning this award, submit your nomination by Friday 4 September.

Meet the judges of the AAT Outstanding Contribution Award

This award is judged separately from other AAT Impact Award categories by a dedicated judging panel of AAT leaders, current standing and past Presidents.

AAT International Champion Award

Honouring AAT members who extend AAT’s impact across borders through mentoring, hiring or advocacy.

Who should enter

AAT members who've helped to raise AAT’s profile or extended its reach internationally since 1 April 2025. This might include mentoring across borders, establishing international partnerships or advocating for AAT in new markets. 

Submit your completed nomination by Monday 27 July 2026.

AAT Financial Leadership Award

Highlighting the achievements of AAT members making a difference in finance roles outside of practice.

Who should enter

Senior finance professionals who’ve demonstrated strong leadership and strategic influence since 1 April 2025. This could include managing teams, leading transformation or delivering lasting improvements to financial performance and culture.

Submit your completed nomination by Monday 27 July 2026.

AAT Social Sustainability Champion Award

Celebrating AAT members who are driving lasting social impact and opening doors for others through their role in finance. 

Who should enter

Any AAT members who are creating fairer, more inclusive pathways into the finance profession, supporting social mobility or inclusion in finance since 1 April 2025. This could be through mentoring, internships, apprenticeships, outreach with schools or colleges or any other activity which helps open the profession to new or underrepresented groups. 

Submit your completed nomination by Monday 27 July 2026.

Once you've submitted your nomination, if you're an AAT professional member, don't forget to book your place at AAT Connect so you can take full advantage of what the day has to offer. 

Terms and conditions

Before submitting your nomination please read the Fair Processing Notice for AAT awards nominations detailing how we’ll handle your data.

If you’re nominating someone else the nominee will be contacted, but we won’t disclose any details of the nominator.

Personal data submitted as part of your nomination will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with consent. Nominations will be judged by an independent panel of AAT staff to select winners. 

Once submitted, we’ll retain your nomination and the data within it for six months for unsuccessful nominations and 12 months for winners.
