AAT announces that its own headline gender pay gap – the difference between the median hourly rate of pay that male and female colleagues receive – has reduced from 13.7% to 4%.

The new figures, showing AAT’s gender pay information to the year ending 5 April 2019, have been published ahead of this year’s International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March 2020.

As of April 2019, AAT had 40% females in senior management, meeting its target as set out by the Women in Finance Charter three years early.

AAT’s gender pay gap figures have been formally published each year since 2017, the year in which new legislation came into force, requiring all companies with 250 or more "relevant" employees to publish gender pay data.

This year’s report, which includes recommendations for how businesses with AAT employees can look to improve their own gender pay gap, can be found on the AAT website.
