Misconduct
- He was found by the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) to have breached the fundamental principles of Professional Behaviour and Objectivity of the Insolvency Code of Ethics when, knowing that a colleague had caused a valuation report on two properties to be falsified and placed on his receivership case files, he chose to continue to have a business and/or professional relationship with the colleague.
- He was sanctioned by the IPA in respect of the conduct at Allegation 1.
Finding
By reason of the conduct set out in the Allegations above Jason Callender is guilty of misconduct pursuant to Article 21 of AAT’s Articles of Association.
Order
- Fined £500.00
- Reprimanded for three years.
Consent
The decision of Professional Standards shall stand as an Order of the Association pursuant to Regulation 5.2 and 5.3 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
