Eventsforce cookies policy

Last updated: 10 December 2018

AAT uses an external provider, Eventsforce, to allow you to book a place on an AAT event. This policy pertains to cookies on the Eventsforce website, not to cookies on www.aat.org.uk.

By viewing the cookies used when booking onto an event you may also want to view AAT's main cookies policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device.

Types of cookies the Eventsforce website uses

Session cookies

Eventsforce uses session cookies. These are like the short-term memory of its website. They last only as long as your current internet session, and will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser. These are essential cookies as the website will not work appropriately without them.

Analytical/performance cookies

Analytical/performance cookies are used to monitor the performance of the website: for example, to determine the number of page views and the number of unique users who have visited the site.

The information these cookies provide allows Eventsforce to analyse patterns of user behaviour. This is anonymous - it can't be used to identify you and doesn't contain any personal information, and is only used for statistical analysis purposes.

Eventsforce uses Google Analytics to gather the performance information for its website. This analysis helps it see which areas of the website are popular, which pages are viewed and for how long. Google stores the information gathered; read Google’s privacy policy for more information.

You're unable to opt out of essential cookies, as these are an important part of providing you with an effective service. If your browser setting is configured to block all cookies, the Eventsforce website will not function as expected. They'll no longer be able to offer you the same level of tailored, personalised services and you may not be able to access some of the services on the Eventsforce website.
