We offer four Accounting Qualifications, which each take six to 18 months to complete. These qualifications provide training for a huge range of accounting and finance roles and are respected by employers worldwide.
- Foundation Certificate in Accounting
- Foundation Diploma in Accounting and Business (16–19-year-olds only)
- Advanced Diploma in Accounting
- Professional Diploma in Accounting
This qualification can be used as a route to professional AAT full member status (MAAT).
Students can start with any qualification depending on their existing skills and experience. If they already have some accounting experience, they should take the AAT Skillcheck test to find out the best qualification to start with.
Training provider fees vary widely depending on the training provider and the amount of study materials and support provided.
Professional status for your staff
AAT bookkeeping member status (AATQB)
When students successfully complete the Advanced Diploma in Accounting, they can apply for AAT associate bookkeeping membership and become a professional AAT bookkeeping member (AATQB). Find out more about achieving AATQB status.
