2. Choose a training provider

AAT approved training providers are happy to advise without obligation, so you should compare providers and ask questions to ensure they match your business needs. Check the cost of AAT training here.  

Training providers fees vary widely, depending on the delivery of the course (classroom or distance learning) and the level of support given to students.

Study support can include tutor guidance and feedback, course materials and online resources.

When contacting training providers, ask about: If you are interested in apprenticeships ask about:
  • Format options - part-time, classroom learning, distance learning
  • Length of course
  • Fees (and what these cover - books, assessments, tutor support)
  • Funding options
  • Enrolment dates
  • Open days
  • Pass rates

3. Enrol on the course

Before a student can start their AAT qualification they will need to:

  1. Enrol with the training provider
     
  2. Pay the training provider fees - check whether these include AAT assessment fees, and the level of study support and materials provided

If you are setting up an apprenticeship, a student cannot be classified as an apprentice until they have enrolled with a training provider.

 

4. Register with AAT 

Once a student has enrolled with an AAT approved training provider they will need to:

When they register with AAT they will need to pay the AAT fees - view the fees here. This will enable students to access exclusive AAT study materials and sit their assessments.
